Skills Clinic For Middle School Beginners

 

Stick Handling: Drills to improve grip, cradling, and stick control, with an emphasis on maintaining possession in tight spaces and under defensive pressure.

Passing & Catching: Repetition of various passing angles, quick releases, long passes, and leading teammates while focusing on accuracy and timing.

Shooting: Focus on shot placement (high/low, far pipe/near pipe), quick release, and shooting on the run, including shooting from different angles and under pressure.

Ground Balls: Techniques to improve speed and efficiency in scooping ground balls during scrambles or when pressured by defenders, with a focus on timing and hand positioning.

Dodging: Teaching effective dodging techniques, including fakes, change of direction, and explosive acceleration to evade defenders.
